Healing

By  John Mace

When a person seeks medical treatment for sickness or injury, whether it be conventional or alternative medicine, it needs to be understood that it is not the treatment which does the healing or curing – it is the Being who does the healing and not the treatment. The treatment is an aid, not a be all and end all.  If this statement is doubted, try healing a corpse! And what is a corpse? It is a body whose spiritual entity has departed.

In all “near death experiences,” the person reports being detached from their body. This is the common factor no matter what else transpired.  In a “near death” experience and not actual death, the being obviously returns to the body after being temporarily detached from it. It is the Being returning to the body which indicates life and it is the spirit’s permanent detachment from the body, which is death.

Assuming the above occurs during a medical emergency, it is the work of the medicos who keep the body functioning, which apparently encourages the Being to return. To ignore their help would be ridiculous and illogical, but this help must be put in the right perspective. If the Being does not return, then the body dies, no matter what efforts the medicos make, and that is the bottom line – all medical treatment is purely an aid in the fight for life and healing.

All treatments are purely an assistance to the Being to affect the healing or cure, but it is the Being who does the healing, of that there is no doubt. I make no claim to be a healer, but I do claim to be able to assist the individuals concerned to heal themselves. It has been proven time and time again, that by releasing the attendant emotional trauma, the time taken for the healing procedure is greatly reduced.

There is numerous anecdotal evidence of injuries, which seem to take forever to heal and quite often get worse with attendant side effects, to the despair of both patient and medical staff. Often, well-intentioned ‘solutions ‘ make the condition worse. In these cases it is the trauma of the original injury, which impedes the healing procedure.

As explained in “Upsets - The source of Stress and Depression” negative energy ridges are created during any unwanted experience and it is the negative components of these ridges, which adversely affect the natural healing procedure. Any bodily injury is physically traumatic but what is overlooked is that the injury also causes emotional trauma, which needs to be addressed.

In the following example, it was the expert attention of medical specialists who initially set the person on the road to recovery, but it was the un-creation of the emotional trauma, which expedited the healing. The example concerns an American client who requested that I work on her broken ankle. I quickly made it clear that I do not heal bodies, but I would be willing to address the attendant trauma using the Upset and Identity handling procedure.  This of course was accepted. Only a matter of days later she rang and jocularly took me to task, by saying, “ I thought you did not heal bodies!”  “I am now walking!”

This is what she wrote to me:

I had a session with John concerning my broken ankle, which was a big upset. I had to have surgery and have a plate put on my anklebone. My doctor said it would take 2 to 3 months before I could walk on my own. Guess what, in six weeks I was walking and my doctor was amazed.  He said, on the x-rays it did not even show a hairline where it was broken.  This session was wonderful.  This really works.
