Time

By  John Mace

I stated in the section on Mace Method Theory that an energy ridge (upset) and identity were formed when an unwanted feeling was encountered and resisted. This is true but the converse could also be said. That is, if you didn't have a negative identity, you wouldn't get upset!

There appears to be a contradiction here. The only explanation that can solve this is the understanding that time does not exist for a spiritual being! Before you start thinking I must be stark raving mad, read on.

As is stated elsewhere on this web site, we are primarily spiritual beings who have a mind and a body. The combination of all three makes up the whole person.

The brain is essentially an interface between the spirit and the mind/body, which makes it appear that our spirit "inhabits" our brains. When the spirit departs, we are no longer alive in the physical sense. Our bodies die and our identities die with them.

The mind and body operate in the physical universe, where there are 4 dimensions, width, depth, height and time. We would not exist (in the physical sense) if any one of these were missing. Time only exists because space exists.

Our Spirit or soul, however operates in another dimension, which is why it can't be detected directly. Only its effects are visible. Gravity, magnetism and electricity are much the same, you can see their effects but you cannot directly see THEM.

In this other dimension there is no space. If there is no space, there can be no time. If you think about it, this explains a lot of things, such as re-incarnation and other otherwise mysterious phenomena.

So whether an upset comes before or after an identity becomes irrelevant. They just are.

Interestingly, this brings up another point. If there is no time for a being, there can be no beginning or end, it must be eternal. If we are eternal, then why do we fear dying and losing everything we have that is dear to us?

Because we are unaware that we as spiritual beings are not our bodies nor are we our behaviors!

How much easier would life be without the baggage caused by those beliefs?
